Technically he wouldn’t be showing his face like this on earth and instead have his helmet on, but I wanted to show his face here, so… yeah! 😅 I mean there’s a lot of silly liberties I took here anyway that wouldn’t exactly be canon, like him dancing like this in the first place. XD This was just made for fun! I had this in the making for a while. Started it some months ago… but just got around to finally finishing it now. This was inspired by the arona dance meme!

WIP Wednesday: Katabasis

I have some more for Khemor's MQ fic. This takes place early on when he has been called to High Hrothgar by the Greybeards, resting in Ivarstead with his Stormcloak escort/honor guard/Ulfric's insurance that the LDB doesn't go haring off to an Imperial-controlled hold

Summary: A prequel for Nostos, detailing how Khemor went from a senior magus in the College of Whispers to becoming the Last Dragonborn, Thane of Windhelm and the Pale, confidant of Ulfric Stormcloak and traitor to the Empire.

With a weary sigh and a flick of his tail, Derkeethus slid onto the bench next to Calder. The small inn was full to bursting: in addition to its usual clientele of local farmers, fishermen, and woodsmen, the detachment of Stormcloaks from Riften’s forces combined with the escort from Windhelm was straining the capacity of the small hamlet. He was almost done with his supper anyways, and moved over to make room.

“Have you been able to find a place for the night?” Calder asked. “I think we’re going to end up on the common room floor, if not our tents. But I suppose that’s not a concern for you.”

The Argonian took a bite of the smoked salmon on his trencher, swallowing the strip of flesh whole before responding, “What do you mean?”

“Oh,” Calder waved his hand. “I heard your folk were just as able to sleep in the water as on land. Must be handy for traveling, saving on rooms in inns.”

Derkeethus paused, tilting his head to get a better look at Calder. “I always have a place by Klimmek’s fire when I’m in Ivarstead,” Derkeethus jerked his snout to the corner where a bearded man was deep in conversation with Ralof and Commander Gonnar Oath-Giver. “We fish and trade together often. He knows the way up the mountain as well as I know the trail from Darkwater Crossing. You’ll be in good care with him as your scout.”

Calder sopped up the last bit of pottage with a bread-crust and washed it down with the last of his mead. More soldiers were trooping in from the outside, and as much as he did not want to stand, someone would be wanting his seat soon. At least his duty to Khemor meant he would be sleeping under a roof with the mage: he suspected most of the other Stormcloaks in Commander Oath-Giver’s company would be in tents or making do in the cowsheds and barns tonight.

“The minnow is escaping your net,” Derkeethus said mildly.

A flutter of black fabric caught Calder’s eye, disappearing through the door as it closed behind the soldiers. It was Calder’s turn to sigh. Of course, the most likely explanation was that Khemor had stepped out for a bit of fresh air. The common room of the Vilemyr Inn was smoky, hot, and loud.

But Jarl Ulfric himself had ordered Calder to ensure the Dragonborn made it safely to High Hrothgar and back. It would not do for Khemor to go wandering unaccompanied, even in such a quiet place as Ivarstead.

He returned his trencher to the innkeeper, who immediately began slopping more pottage on it for the next Stormcloak demanding a meal. The pretty barmaid was standing in the middle of a knot of soldiers, laughing and tuning her lute. As Calder stepped out into the night air, the first notes of a simple melody followed him through the door.

This is now the final form of my Warlock Max's outfit, for his Void and (non-exotic bond) Prismatic builds!

A gift for @toothpaste-dragon featuring her characters Ardyn and Mip! And also Lenny from Shark Tale, haha! This was something in the making for a while, from like May or June of last year! 

I made this because she has mentioned in the past how her character Ardyn and Lenny form Shark Tale have some similarities in their story. I came across the existence of an animation meme that utilizes the song “I am a Girl like you” , and it just clicked to me that it might fit with that, so I decided to go for it! ;w;

That background of the LM1 mansion foyer was a nightmare to draw. Q_Q; But ah well, it's done, and I can reuse it again for later projects down the line. ♥
